In detail
Ember Panel is a phone-size panel in a matte black body, its front a grid of small LEDs. Red LEDs at 660 nm sit side by side with near-infrared LEDs at 850 nm. Near-infrared light is invisible, so when the panel is on you only see the red ones glow.
Press the power button to start a session. A built-in timer switches the panel off by itself at the end, so there is nothing to time.
It charges over USB-C and runs on its own battery, with no cord while you use it. A soft silicone cover wraps it for a bag or a drawer.

What is near-infrared light?
Light just past red, which you cannot see. On Ember Panel, the near-infrared LEDs (850 nm) sit beside the red ones (660 nm), so only the red LEDs seem to glow. Assume the panel is on whenever you see red, and do not point it at your eyes.
How does the timer work?
Press the power button to start a session. When the session ends, the panel switches itself off.
How do I charge it?
Over USB-C, from a USB power adapter or a computer. Charge it fully before the first use. While you use it, it runs on its battery, with no cord.
Can I take it with me?
Yes. It is about the size of a phone, and the silicone cover wraps it for a bag. Keep it dry and out of a hot car.
How do shipping and returns work?
Shipping is included in the price; there is no separate delivery charge. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, then take 7 to 12 business days in transit, so allow about 8 to 15 business days from order confirmation. We deliver to the 50 US states and Washington, D.C. Import duties and customs fees are paid by us. If a carrier ever asks you for any, contact us and we will cover it in full. Unused items in their original condition and packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, Lift Strips, Night Tape, Night Tape Lavender, Still Earplugs and Aroma Sticks can be returned only unopened, in their sealed pouch or pack, and Dusk Mask only unworn, in its box. A product that arrives defective, damaged or wrong, or stops working because of a defect within those 30 days, is replaced or refunded, even if it has been opened or used. A damaged, swollen, overheated or leaking band or panel must not be mailed back: stop using it, send us photos, and we refund or replace it without a return. Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by the customer; we send the return address by e-mail, and it may be outside the United States. For a defective, damaged or wrong item, we pay it. You can cancel at no charge until your order ships.
