Accessibility

Last updated November 3, 2026

We want everyone to be able to browse IKI, read about our products and their safety information, and place an order, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This page explains what we aim for, what we have done, where we know we still fall short, and how to get help.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) at Level AA, the standard widely used for websites in the United States. We built the site with it in mind, we check our pages against it, and we keep improving when we find a problem or someone tells us about one.

What we have done

  • Structure: every page has a clear title, headings in a logical order, and the same header and footer, so you always know where you are. A "Skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users go straight to the main content.
  • Keyboard: the menu, the product images, the quantity controls, the cart and every link can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the element you are on is clearly outlined, on the light and the dark sections alike.
  • Color and contrast: we chose text and background colors with enough contrast to meet Level AA on both the light and the dark sections of the site. Information is never given by color alone.
  • Images: product photos have text descriptions, and images that are only decorative are hidden from screen readers.
  • Details in words: what is in the box, how to use each product and its specs are written as text, not only shown in pictures.
  • Safety in words: the safety information for each product is always visible on its page, as plain text, and all of it is gathered on our Care & Safety page.
  • Motion: if you turn on reduced motion on your device, our animations and transitions are turned off or kept to a minimum. Nothing on the site flashes, and no sound plays by itself.
  • Text and zoom: you can enlarge text and zoom the page in your browser, and the layout adapts to small screens without scrolling sideways.
  • Plain language: our policies and product pages are written in short, plain sentences.

Known limits

  • The cart and the delivery estimate need JavaScript. If JavaScript is turned off, you can still read every page.
  • Some photos show the texture, the color or the shape of a product, which a short text description can only partly convey. Ask us, and we will describe a product in more detail.
  • Online payment is being set up. Once it opens, payments will be handled on the secure payment form of a third-party payment processor, whose design we do not control. If you have trouble paying, we will help you by e-mail.
  • Older browsers may not show every part of the site as intended.

Getting help by e-mail

If something on this website is hard to use, e-mail us at ninijljl972@gmail.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We reply within 2 business days. We can:

  • send you any information on this website, such as a product description, its details, its care and safety information, or one of our policies, as plain text in an e-mail;
  • help you choose between products, for example between Dawn Band and Dawn Band Pro;
  • once online payment opens, help you place an order, at the same price and on the same terms as online.

Please never send your card number by e-mail: we will never ask for it.

Tell us what to improve

If you find a page, a button or a description that does not work for you, please tell us which page it was, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We read every message, answer it, and fix what we can as soon as we can.

We wrote this statement on November 3, 2026, as the website was built. We check the website against these guidelines whenever it changes in a significant way, and update this statement when we do.

Quiet things for the night.

From the Japanese iki (息): breath. Quiet things for the night and the first minutes of the morning: strips, tape, a mask, earplugs, aroma sticks, two vibration alarm bands with their case and a pocket light panel.
